Reminder to Karl Rove: Christine O'Donnell would have been voting this month. Thanks a lot.

Like Mark Kirk in IL and Manchin in WV, DE was also an immediate seating in the senate.

“I was proud to vote today in support of ratification of New START,” Senator Coons said. “I applaud the Senate for approving this critical security measure.”

Yes, many here actually believe this.

Yep.

Ya know how it goes, right? Yesterday's Magnificient Bastard is today's sell-out flake and sleazeball.

Yep, the GOP is dead...they just don’t know it yet.

Just exactly how many people do you think vote based on Karl Rove’s opinion?

Don’t worry, Mark Kirk is there to support the GOP agenda and stop liberalism !

Actually, Kirk voted against the treaty, and spoke in opposition to it. I think I prefer Kirk's stand on the treaty to Alexi Giannoulias', don't you?

The lesson from that transformation:

Don’t turn and viciously attack - your allies.

Rove did exactly that. He attacked the conservative in the race. With far more venom, than he directed at (any) liberal.

Just like John McCain.

Yep, the RINOs stopped a lot of conservatives from being elected.

Dude, there is no way O’Donnell would have won Delaware. She hadn’t worked since 2004 (instead she pulled the liberal move of suing her employer), was accused of living off of campaign contributions, and the blue collar voters of Delaware did not like that.

I’m not saying that Castle win would have been good for the GOP in the long run, but to believe that O’Donnell had a chance, and that somehow it’s all Karl Rove’s fault, is delusional.

It was a special election. But there was no chance she was ever going to win.

So reviewing your posts, it seems you’ve got some pretty solid viewpoints, but you rush to defend Rove and belittle O’Donnell. And you signed up after the election.

Are you Rove?

I think Castle would have voted for the treaty. Gut feeling. He did vote for the Dream act and DADT repeal. Castle would have been much worse than Kirk, and thus I’d much rather have Coons and challenge Coons in 2014 with a real conservative, who unlike ODonnell can actually win.

You missed sentence #2, madam:

“and if you don’t realize this is sarcasm, you are too stupid to draw a breath”

That applies to all of you Kirkiebot Socialist Combiner shills especially.

I don’t like Karl Rove. At all. BUT, he’s not the reason Christine O’Donnell lost.

He, and other traitorous Elite Republicans, were the main reason Christine lost.

He has one of the most recognizable names in politics today.

He endlessly attacked Christine AFTER the primary.

Do the math!

Karl Rove coudln’t have gotten Christine O’Donnell elected even if he’d managed her campaign personally. No one could have gotten her elected. I’m surprised this editorial was even posted.

Clever shot at Mark Kirk.

No, I’m not Rove. I know a decent amount about Delaware politics though (have a lot of family in that area). Unless you want to be in the pocket of JPMorgan, which Castle was, You need to connect with the blue collar voters of Delaware to carry that state. O’Donnell, because of her background, could not do that.

BTW, just as an aside, the reason that Castle supported cap and trade was not because he cared about the environment. He wanted to create a trillion dollar derivatives market for JPMorgan to play broker in. Trust me, I do not take Rove’s position that a Castle win would have been a good thing.

Well Broheem, having the "Architect" roll out 5 minutes after the primary race was called for O'Donnell and smearing her as incompetent, with a deep seated hatred, killed her. It set the tone for the news cycle for days. He was quoted by the Networks and every other Lamestream outlet endlessly giving it credence. Can you point to any other race where a prominent party official pissed all over the candidate? Karl Rove is such a POS elitist insider, his own family doesn't want to see him anymore.
