A single mother received countless gifts from people across Minnesota after someone broke into her home and stole Christmas gifts for her 8-year-old son.
Diane Lecy came home to a broken front door window on December 14 and found all the Christmas gifts gone from underneath her tree, but now she comes home to a different scenario.
“I’ve come home to boxes sitting on my step, mailbox full of cards,” Lecy said. “There are few scrooges, but there are a lot of people that care.”
Lecy couldn’t begin to count the number of cards, packages and gifts she received, but her gratitude was obvious.
“It has exceeded anything I could have ever provided,” Lecy said. “I don’t think I could put a dollar value on what I have received.”
The Maynard’s grocery store in Renville was a drop-off spot for gifts, and they raised over $1,000 for Lecy and her son. They were accepting food, checks and gifts, and will most likely deliver the goods on December 23.

You just can’t get much lower then stealing Christmas gifts. I hope they catch whoever did this.

Single mother puts the woman on the same footing as a widower, or divorcee.
Most of the time the single mom is divorced, the rest of the time the sigle mom is just a whore.
I’d like to see the term’single mother’ done away with.

And that woman has received more gifts than she ever imagined giving to her son, so she is planning to give a whole bunch of them to another local family whose house burned down recently.

Is it the *term* ‘single mother’ that you are having a problem with? Or, in your mind a raped women who does not abort equates to whore?

Opening line was “single mom”.
You may put trash on the same scale scale as a divorcee or a widower but that’s a long way off in my opinion, that’s all.
I’m not running for office.
Whores hide behind the term single mom and that puts them equal to a widower, that’s all.
