We read the book, and yes it was in there, but it did seem a little explicit to me.

The dance scene was also out of place. I guess it was in there to show Harry cheering Hermione up, and yes, it seemed to start to point to a romantic involvement not in the book. Out of place - the problem Harry had continually was dealing with his own anger, not Hermione’s.

I think what disappointed us so much was being that they broke it into two parts, we were hoping they would take the opportunity to not leave so much out. (I was so disappointed with book 5, that so much was left out - St Mungo’s, and all).

But I guess I’m not the first person ever to see a movie and say the “Book was better....”
