I apologize if this is lame and I've never voted for a show in my life but she has been recieving tea party support even though she is not the best dancer by consistently being in the top 3 in viewer votes every week.
You may not be a fan of the show or even Bristol but I firmly believe her continued success on the show demonstrates the power of the tea party.

Well, if I was watching and if I knew something about dancing, I would vote - for the best dancer, whomever that is.
The news reports and pictures are quite clear — not “hearsay.” She rolled around on the floor with her partner, pretending to rip his shirt off. In a press interview, she used foul language and giggled about how she did a “lap dance” with her partner. The “naked-leg” pictures of her entwined with her partner border on immodest and unChristian — particularly for a spokeswoman for abstinence.
That’s enough evidence for me, as a conservative Christian. Is it being hyperjudgmental to say that a spokeswoman for abstinence should not be giggling about lap dances? I really don’t understand why you talk so much about our irrelevant backgrounds. Why can’t we just look at the facts?
So what you are telling me is it is good to judge other people, but no one but God should judge you. Of course, not one of your family members or associates has ever judged you. I will continue to pray for you. Pax
You keep bringing up irrelevant things. All humans — as imperfect people — must make judgments about the world around them. Society cannot survive if people cannot make judgments about inappropriate behavior. No standard will last long if no one enforces the standards.
Can you at least answer the question? In your opinion, is Bristol Palin is behaving in a trashy and sexually provocative way?
I must come from a different POV than you. In my youth I was on the swim team wearing a clingy Speedo swimsuit. While living outside of Vancouver, we attended a conservative fellowship where mixed bathing (swimming), card playing and dancing were considered immoral. Back then I still believed that I could work my way to heaven through good deeds and good behavior. My redemption is not based on what I can do for Jesus Christ, instead my redemption is based on what He has done for me. Christ's unconditional love is truly amazing. For me every day is thanksgiving-for He saved a wretch like me.
By the way, I have never voted for anyone on DWTS. May every day of the year be thanksgiving for you, too. Through His grace- Maeve
My POV? I’m not talking about mixed bathing and card playing. I’m talking about Bristol cursing to reporters (the s-word), joking about lap dancing, and pretending to tear off the shirt of her partner on the dance floor. That may be less objectionable than what the others are doing, but it’s still trashy and sexual. No wonder she got pregnant.
Tell me one thing — how is lap dancing not sexual?
Yes, you have made it clear that Bristol is not up to your high standards of behavior. I have a feeling few people are up to your high standards.

It wouldn’t be chewing the same old cud if you answered the question. You would be chewing on something different. You would be explaining how “lap-dancing” Bristol is a good Christian witness to millions of impressionable kids watching Dancing With Stars.
There is nothing more to say on the subject. My opinion is merely my opinion, and your opinion is merely your opinion-nothing more. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. But one bit of advice-for the sake of family harmony, do not insist on having the final word.
