I seriously haven’t been this excited since I was a little girl waiting on Santa. I just pray that my gifts aren’t the type that hype “authentic”, “real”, “life-like”, “flying”, “cooking”, “walking”, “talking” toys/dolls/robots/planes on the box only to find out they don’t do anything close to what the commercials advertised!!!
I’m having myself a little party....with wine, comfort food and I’m buying red, white & blue helium balloons... I’ll pop a blue one each time a ‘rat loses his/her seat :)
I wish I had an election victory party to go to on Long Island!!!! anyone????

I’m an old single guy and my buddies should not hear this, but I just made enough peanut-butter cookies to last for the next couple days. I have a 12 year old bottle of scotch whisky (correct spelling) waiting on me to break the seal, and a box of cuban cigars (?real?) in my humidor that has been saved for a special occasion like tomorrow night. My neighbor and his wife are former college (ivy league) philosophy professors, now retired, that are/were the biggest Obama supporters in history back in 2008. They now will not look at me, so I plan to take my scotch, cigars and cookies out in my yard tomorrow/Wednesday and position my lawn chair facing their house and dining room window. Life is good...
