I must confess I really haven’t seen him in actionmuch. If he is better then the OSU QB then he must be something.

I’m an Ohio St. fan, but Cam Newton would get my Heisman vote at the present time. He’s about equal to Terrelle Pryor as a runner and seems to be a suprerior passer.

He is amazing to watch and the way he put together that 7 minute drive to win over Kentucky was spectacular.

Yes it was. I missed a few plays because I was going back and forth between that and LSU-Florida but caught most of it and was quite impressed. He was also impressive against Clemson and South Carolina from what I saw.

Denale Robinson is still the best player in the country. I am not sure why voters only think players on the best teams are worthy.

Wouldn’t that be a kick in the head to Urban Meyer and Company if it turned out that they passed on a Heisman Trophy winner at QB.

I would love it! Also, the “other institution” in this state just got their first last year. Auburn would be getting our THIRD. Cam Newton is that good.

After they beat us in the first game of the season, they became one of my favorite teams

We have the rest of the season to go. I would love Cam Newton to get the Heisman, but he wasn’t even mentioned in this article.

Michigan St. exposed him to a certain degree. He was simply so-so in that game. While Robinson has had arguably the two most impressive individual performances, they were against mediocre competition.

Good performances against a mediocre schedule, sounds like Kellen Moore and BSU.

Basically, but even as an Ohio St. fan, I’d have to say the same thing about Pryor so far this season. Although, he won’t have mediocre competition Saturday night.

They were not just impressive games, they were two of the most impressive performances in history. Doing 200-200 is extremely rare against any level of competition. Michigan is not that good of a team, but Robinson is by far the best player in the country.

Nobody is by far the best player in the country this season. Robinson might be the best player in the country, but it isn’t by much if he is. If you’re that much better than everyone else, you don’t throw 1 TD vs 3 INTs in your biggest game so far this season. On the other hand, when Auburn played a very good South Carolina team, Cam Newton threw 2 TDs vs 0 INTs and ran for 176 yds and 3 TDs.
