I have just started on the sample I downloaded. Will see if it peaks my interest and evaluate a complete read when I pick up the Kindle again later today.
I also purchased/downloaded a study bible and took the Kindle to bible study class yesterday. It worked fine and when a question came up about a modern day person that folks couldn’t think of their name, I turned on the wireless and googled it.
Grayson is a hate-filled nutcase.
"I was there", said Parente. "I smelled death. I tasted death. It was in the air that we breathed as we worked. Don't tell me that the building is not near Ground Zero. It was all around us."
God bless you Peter Parente.
Yep. But these Moslems will keep pushing until they get what they want.
Thank you for the link.
I did not know you could google! How do you do that!
You are welcome.
You have to have the wireless turned ON. From the Home Page click on Menu and scroll down to Search. Type in your search terms and then maneuver to either My Items, Kindle Store, Google, Dictionary, Wikipedia or you can go to the web.
Large graphics etc. won’t download if they are too big. Same for large files. But basic info and hit links is pretty easy to get.
If you are opened to an actual book on the Kindle, the menu button will take you to Search This Book. That won’t require being on wireless, I don’t believe as it’s like a text search.
When I was reading Guerney Literary and SPP Society, I came to the part where they described prisoners from the Spanish Civil War that were brought to the islands by the Germans. I refreshed my memory about the Spanish Civil War (Franco, late 30’s, pre WWII etc) and it added a lot of understanding about the characters they were describing.
You can also shop the Kindle store from your Kindle, although I typically use my PC for that.
Yeesh, I should’ve previewed that post. Hopefully it’s understandable.
I found the google search!
Thank you!
I have always shopped the Kindle store from the kindle, usually in bed at night.
Steve Hayes is destroying Juan Williams on the Fox All Stars. Of course, that is not hard to do.
I’m checking in. My nephew is here and is looking at my poor computer. We fed him. Roast beef, smashed taters and corn. I’m planning on watching episode 2 of the new House season. I do not know why I like HOuse. He is a turrible person and kills his patients two or three times before he discovers the problem.
Anyway. that’s the plan.
Stay well, sweetie .................... FRegards
Good morning!
A double sunrise! I need a double sunrise to wake up this morning! Thanks Jem!
You’re welcome.
