Dear FRiends,
Please send prayers up for my nephew and my family. His wife and beautiful 13 year old daughter were killed in the San Bruno fire yesterday. Mercifully he and his 15 year old daughter had left with my sister only a few minutes before the explosion but materially he has lost everything and I can only imagine the horror he is suffering at losing his beloved wife and daughter.
My family in the Bay Area is large and they will be doing everything humanly possible to care for them in these trying times but prayers are always welcome. I have turned to you all several times in the past and I consider all FReepers an extended family so please offer up some words of comfort and prayers for their souls.

What tragedy! Father God, I ask for Your peace to fill this man, his daughter and mother at their time of immense grief. And many blessings for all those who will care for him and his family during this time. In Jesus Name, I pray.
This is devastating to hear. I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I have just said a prayer for your nephew that he will be comforted by our Lord. I just don’t know what else... only God can help this sort of a broken heart. I’m sure he’ll need all of his family in the days and month ahead. It’s just another sobering reminder that life is fragile and so precious... we are but a breath as scripture tells us.
Prayer for you, your family, your nephew, his surviving daughter and the extended families and friends and all who have lost loved ones in this tragedy.

How terribly sad. I read about these two victims in the news. Who would have known that the tragedy hits close to home. My condolences and prayers to your family.
May they be in God’s care 3 days before the devil knows they are gone.
I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. I prayed for them and thanked God for his loving extended family.
