OK, so they found porn on his computer, but why has he resigned? As long as it doesn’t feature children or animals, whats the problem?

George Costanza: [pause] “Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorence on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time!”

In his case he is married to a lawyer.
Justice WILL be done, count on it. Not to mention extortion, infliction of extreme financial suffering, ad anuseam.

OK, so they found porn on his computer, but why has he resigned? As long as it doesnt feature children or animals, whats the problem? I'm relatively sure that work computers are supposed to not contain any inappropriate or unauthorized materials, which I'm guessing that porn violates that in at least one manner. Odds are also that if he had it on his work computer, it got there through the court's internet connection, which again probably violates a few codes of conduct.
If it was on a personally owned computer, and he was using his own network connection to download it, wouldn't care much either.

Its porn. That’s kinda the idea. Could be worse ... at least it was adults ... even better, adult women.
Just keep it at home, judge.

Love the Costanza analogy!
The guy was an idiot for doing this on his work computer and on the taxpayers dime. Gotta love the quote, though, from the investigator saying the porn featured “young women”. Doesn’t most porn, even legal porn, feature relatively young women in any event?
