I certainly thought he was an angel!

Ironic thing was, he was a Guatemalan — and we were in a country where the citizens GREATLY looked down upon Guatemalans. I mean, really racist towards them.

Yet, God used that Guatemalan man to save lives. I believe had he not stepped up (literally) and intervened the entire cabin would have broken into wailing and chaos — and no one would known what to do or been able to calmly follow instructions to “remove your eyeglasses” and “grasp your knees,” etc. And all he knew to do was calmly read from the emergency brochure!

It didn’t matter to him that this country treated him with such a racist attitude. He showed leadership, courage and, yes, love.
