I love living in the United States and love political debates!
We had an important senate election here and I proudly chose Scott Brown for senate because Martha Coakley was totally clueless and incompetent.
I looked at both candidates for president carefully. John McCain is a true military hero and even worked across the aisle on McCain-Feingold, McCain-Lieberman and McCain-Kennedy. Thry were three very good bills. However, McCain is anti-choice, anti-gay and too pro-gun.
Barack Obama was short on experience, but I liked his postions on many issues except for the middle east and he's not agressive enough on the war on terror.
I chose President Obama at the end and while he's far from perfect, I'm pleased with my choice.
I love politics and can't wait to get into it! :-) I'm new so be nice while I get used to this site!

Pro-baby-murder (my preferred term for ‘pro choice’) is probably NOT what you wll find from other members.
Big govt and high taxes are our what we are trying to get rid of, so be prepared to not find much agreement here.

He’s destroying your health service, he’s tripled the national debt and your real rate of inflation is pushing 20%.
He’s refused to stand up for the oppressed people of Iran, while trying to reinstate a dictator in Honduras.
His restrictive ROE and published withdrawal date have made the battle against Islamic terror in Afghanistan much more difficult and bloody.
And he sued Arizona when they tried to enforce the law.

Lizzie, given everything Obama has done so far, if you’re still pleased with him, you are not moderate. May I suggest you watch Glenn Beck for one week. And by all means, read the information you will receive from this site.
