Never butter. The secret to perfectly golden grilled cheese is a layer of very thinly spread mayonaise.

BTW My tagline is about our own version of The Alamo.

We should never forget the history that binds us together.

Ahh, that sounds even better, lol. Grandma knew just what to do! Now I’m hungry.

[Remember the River Raisin!]

Ok, I’ll look that up since I’m not familiar with it. Thanks.

I like to use Mayo on the outside of the bread, and (if it’s for me, and not the wife), spray my cast iron griddle with a bit of oil and sprinkle it with garlic powder and freshly ground black pepper. Yummy! Oh, and fresh onion slices on the inside :)
I also like to make fried egg sandwiches by beating some chunky salsa into the eggs before frying. yuuuummm!!!

This will be the model of successful small businesses in the coming socialist dictatorship.

Never thought of using mayo! I guess it served the purpose. Does is taste better than butter?

It’s not cool with the board of health, or Bloomberg’s food nazis, or the IRS.

Oh, how interesting! I've used mayo on the inside before, but never the outside. Hmmmm, think I'll try that next time. Thanks.
