Excellent, excellent website! I probably read through half of it before emailing the link out to all of my friends, I was so riveted to what I was reading.
We all hope and pray that the bottom won’t fall out of our socio-political system, but if (as Grandpappy says) there is a global meltdown of the financial system (which is looking all too likely), our whole world would change within hours.
Maybe it never comes to that, but it sure won’t hurt to be prepared, just in case.

His article on the one-hour meltdown was one of the most popular posts ever on my blog. I can see why. I've never read anything that riveted me to the chair quite like that piece did.
Grandpappy makes a compelling case for the entire country falling into anarchy within the space of an hour, in the case of a global financial meltdown. It's completely logical, and so are his estimates of how many people would quickly be eliminated by murder, traffic accidents, and starvation.
I think that anyone reading that article will have their reality adjusted about preparing for the worst.
