Of course I never lived in Eureka, but I don’t remember it being so rainy there. I used to go to a church camp up in that area (I think) — north of Petaluma. Camp Caz-something or another. That was damp (banana slugs were rampant) but I don’t remember it being rainy.
My question is: what do you do with all the water? Is it channeled down to the Sacramento Valley for crops? Is Nancy Pelosi stealing it for her shower?
Most of CA gets no rain between April and October. Is this going to keep up all summer for you and 1st wife?
The Six Rivers of Humboldt County all run out to sea with just a couple of small dams. There is a dam on the north fork of the Trinity that stores water for the central valley but that is all snowfall in Trinity County...
Thanks. That could be it. I have baking soda, so I’ll get some insecticidal soap as soon as I can.
It may be too late but it worked for my late BiL on his flowering Sweet Peas. Don’t over do the soap like my grandson did when he learned this in his HS biology class. It’s been 6 years and his grandmother has just forgiven him...
I've had such fun watching the beans come up, in only a week!
Hubby calls me Mrs. Gardenzilla!
I've gone garden crazy. ;-)
We live in a valley that was carved out by glaciers that melted 10 or 11 thousand years ago, so we get wild fluctuations in temperature, and humidity levels.
Can you imagine such a temperature swing in the space of 4 miles?
Yep. ;-)
LOL!
Well keep an eye on that Nancy Pooposi Person — she’ll steal your water. I can’t believe what they’ve done to the Central Valley ranchers.
