Is this what we call a “trial balloon?”

Hey Arlen!....

Ask NOT what you can do for your country...(Ask what you country can legally do to you!).

He’d help the country more if he’d go retire to Scotland.

I know what Arlen is talking about. He wanted to make the health care bill bipartisan by being the only republican voting for it.

I sure hope he doesn’t implode too soon. I want to see Pat send him packing. We suffer horribly for every politician we allow in our ranks who is like Arlen Specter. The horrible thing is I already see our new Arlen’s. Mark Kirk is one, Berkley Prof and Gov Schwarzenegger lackey Tom Campbell will be another if he wins in California and Linda McMahon will be another if she wins in CT, or even Dan Coats in Indiana. Also we have plenty of others who are not really with us but are riding the winds of revolution only to ultimately put it on hold. They don’t see the ultimate goal of smaller government or greater liberty. None of those I’ve just mentioned have signed onto the pledge to even try to repeal Obamacare but because they have money and because they are “too big to fail” they are leading the primary races or like Kirk who hid out like a coward and ran out the clock headed towards a victory that will be used to bludgeon the Tea Party movement and conservatives alike. Republicans are going to claim victory and as soon as they return to power if they are not accompanied by enough of our candidates they will betray us. I have no doubt of that. We need to keep that in mind and not get trapped into the false conventional political wisdom that ends up giving us soft Republicans who aren’t looking for unchained liberty and don’t really believe in the sovereign citizen but would instead only give us a slightly longer chain.

He might have helped the country more if he had committed ritual suicide.

Great advice for all POS statists. Go Arlen!

....”Also we have plenty of others who are not really with us but are riding the winds of revolution only to ultimately put it on hold”...

That’s always been the problem with the GOP, too many RINO’s(being generous)who are no better than ‘rat moles(political party infiltrators)with the intent of doing just what you say in the above quote. The rest of your statement is all too true-that’s the reason I say it’s on us, We, the people, to rectify the path the country is on. We sure as heck can’t rely on Congress, we know they can’t/won’t do it. And, the administration, it’s governing/dictating against our will.

Arlen Specter meant to say:

"Maybe I could have done the country more good if I had stayed a Democrat before becoming Republican before becoming a Democrat again."
