FR Technical Problems

Is it just me, or have FR's servers had a real tough week?

You know, I just went and took a shower, logged in, and what do you know? I can now get in except of course when the server is down. Which is quite often the last few days. Other than that, well, there was that time when all our base belonged to someone, can’t remember who, but no problemo.

It’s not a DoS issue or even layer 3 issue. It is clearly a layer 2 as I can reach their gateway lickity split when I ping or tracert.

It’s not just you...I’ve had fits trying to even get here.

FIREFOX keeps telling me to “reset the connection.”
IE just now told me that I “cannot connect to this page.”

I had thought I was having problems with FF, but evidently not.

A lot of the forums rent space. Few have their own servers. Having our own servers means we can say what we like and are truly free on FR.
