Not the right mix, but an imbalance of amino acids to the high side? Am I understanding this right?

The answer depended on whether calorie restricted or not.

Just a hunch, but I bet the answer comes down to putting the food pyramid and making it a square.

Decrease calories from sugar, alcohol, starch and grain products and increase meat and vegitables.

In short, Atkins in moderation for life.
