If you watched the show, you can see major parallels drawn to policies and propaganda that the Obama administration is doing; even referencing on V the aliens wishing to provide humans “Free Universal Health Care”. If you may recall from the original V, all they want are Humans for meat.
Check out his left eye, I detect a slit.

I kept seeing parallels to the Obama administration when I watched the show.
Is that show worth watching?
What surprised me most was that this new V appears to be anti-Obama and is being shown as such on ABC!
Makes a good desktop image. Right click on image, save in a folder, right click on your desktop, go to Properties, go to Desktop, click Browse, put on desktop as a stretch image.
I watched the original series long ago. It was decent. The new “reimagined” (as they say it), was well done. The acting was excellent (much better than Flash Forward), and the special effects were top notch.
The underlying theme is that the aliens come to earth and offer mankind technology which will help overcome many stuggles and help man achieve a better life. The aliens initially overcome resistance to their arrival by portraying themselves as deeply caring (and very attractive). However their hidden agenda (if like the old V), is that they have arrived on earth to gather humans for food. Under their human looks lurks an evil reptile like creature (this has already been shown in the new V).
Again the parallels to the Obama administrations policies and propaganda techniques are astounding. It is worth watching, if anything, just to see that.

Naturally, when a show debuts to huge ratings and mostly great reviews, the producer’s career is golden. Not this time. Apparently the network who gave Obama an infomercial and refuses to release the “Path to 9/11″ DVD decided to replace the show runner Scott Peters before the pilot even aired. In fact, ABC hosted a big visit by press people last Monday, but Peters was notably absent. Exec producer Steve Pearlman spoke with the reporters.
Peters has been demoted to exec producer, a largely honorary title and has been replaced by former “The Shield” and “Chuck” alum Scott Rosenbaum.

Could be ... I’d need to see a larger version to argue it strongly either way.
If the Obama administration proceeds with such intimidation against the show and as a result changes the premise of it, the losers will be the money people at ABC. It had such high ratings for a premier episode due to its anti-Obama message. Without such underlying theme, the show is just boring PC fluff you can see any day on CNN et al.
