Can we all light a candle sometime tonight and gather with our families to pray for the fallin hero's at Ft Hood. Also lift up our soldiers fighting for our safety and the freedoms we enjoy in the USA.

Will do....not just tonight but we need to keep the wounded and families of dead and the injured in our prayers and in our thoughts in the days to come.
I am a Blue Star Mom and just can’t imagine how horrific it would be to have a son or daughter in deployment and to come home to the safety of their homeland and be murdered like this!! My heart and prayers certainly go out to each and everyone of those involved in this carnage.
I also feel that those of us on FreeRepublic.com need to set our feelings aside and dispense with all the very derogatory comments and instead search our hearts for an expression of our sympathy and prayers. Evidently this shooter was made fun of and also the victim of a lot of derogatory comments and that just may be what set him off and caused him to snap....who knows for sure.
