I don’t think the White House wants us to see Glenn Beck anymore.

It has probably been blocked by one of 0bama’s “Truth Squads” on orders from der Fuhrer.

I dont think the White House wants us to see Glenn Beck anymore.Local radio in Salt Lake City features Bob Lonesberry. Bob indicated that yesterday during Glen's Radio show, Glen was rushed to the hospital due to a burst appendix.
The joke of the day, at the station was that Glen wanted the good MD to draw the proceedure on a chalk board before surgery. ;-) No updates; but presume that things will go well.

We are in IL. Comcast changed their basic cable and it doesn’t include Fox or a few other channels anymore. We were paying for Direct TV and cable was included with our internet. We noticed the change about a week ago, then lost our cable completely. We were thinking of giving up the Direct TV to save money. Sure glad we didn’t.

Fine here in Central NY State. I’ve just been bawling my eyes out, listening to Peter Johnson give his very moving statement on the U.S.S. New York.

Watched Glenn’s show last night. The Judge was covering for him. He said Glenn was recovering from appendicitis. I’m assuming he’s had an appendectomy, but haven’t heard anything more since then.

One of my Freeper friends calls them CommieCast. I can understand why.

It is just fine in Roswell, NM...........however, for the last month it will go dark for 4 or5 minutes at a time. I just figure its a satellite problem.

Thanks guys, I get nervous when 1 channel goes out or the web connection is down.
Yes I admit I’m wrapped kind of tight.
I just got off the phone with Comcast and they pulsed my cable box and it’s back on.
Funny I’d only lose that one channel. mmm mmm mmm.

Glad your service has been restored. I have Time-Warner, and most of the problems I’ve experienced with losing certain channels (mostly HGTV), has been with their HD channels. When it happens, I can usually get them back by rebooting the box, but have had to call them when a few times to have them reboot it from the office. Hope you don’t have any further problems.

“One of my Freeper friends calls them CommieCast. I can understand why.”
I have called them that too. I hate them and wouldn’t do any business with them, but hubby and sons insist it’s the fastest for internet, so I’m stuck. Had a bad experience with them tearing up the ground in front of our house to lay cable for the community and never coming back to clean it up, reseed, etc.
To: Doogle
That’s a relief. I was waiting for Service Electric to conk out also.
To: Marmolade
but hubby and sons insist its the fastest for internetYou can delete the cable TV from Comcast and keep the internet connnection, but the price of the internet goes up some. There fore I keep both, though I dont use the TV very much.
To: WhirlwindAttack
It is Guy “Fox” day, but spelled “Fawkes.” Someone affiliated with the Obama administration and thinking Fox was behind the plot to blow up Parliament shut down Fox News.
To: rightly_dividing
We only used the cable when there was a bad storm and the satellite didn't work or if we were already TIVOing 2 shows and wanted to watch a 3rd (rarely). It was just there due to the package deal as you stated. It appears as of last week we aren't receiving it at all. Not sure what's up, but since we weren't paying anything extra for it, probably won't call them and stir things up. I prefer the satellite.
To: WhirlwindAttack
Comcast provided us with DTA’s. Guess what! 645 this a.m. No Fox News and I get an on screen message “I am not Authorized to watch Fox Business Channel” I could watch the next channel down,MSNBC. I called Comcast and asked why would I want to watch MSNBC; I said Comcast does not have the right to come into my house and tell me what to watch. Fairness doctrine? They’re here!
