New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg exits a voting booth in New York November 3, 2009. Mayor Bloomberg appeared headed to victory over Democrat Bill Thompson after engineering a rules change to allow him to run for a third term and spending millions of his own money on his campaign. As of last month, the billionaire mayor had spent $85 million to Thompson's $6 million.

Dude looks like he’s leaving a glory hole at a porn theater.

Bloomberg scores another victory for the GOP!
I don’t much like Bloomberg, but I love the fact that he would be denying city hall to the dems yet again. That must really piss them off.
Mike Bloomberg - the Manuel Zelaya of New York City.
“Please tell Facilities I’m sorry but they’re out of toilet paper.”
“engineering a rules change to allow him to run for a third term”
I can’t believe he was allowed to get away with this.
Our whole political system is screwed up.
The Dude that bought Manhattan
Hmmm.... How was he able to overturn term limits - Did he pay for it? Isn’t that something that we are fighting for with Senators and such?
How many more terms was he able to buy? Sorry, but I just don’t think that is right!
Sort of the same as Massachusetts overturning a rule that didn’t allow the governor to chose a Senator to fill a position. Gosh, I hate politics and people with money that buy everything.
Sorry!
Dude looks like he’s leaving a glory hole at a porn theater. Thanks. That genuinely cracked me up.

Did someone call for a RINO?

"No more bread. It has nutrients."
“As of last month, the billionaire mayor had spent $85 million to Thompson’s $6 million. “
Jesus! Overkill much?

"Okay, whose idea was it to place the voting handle at waist level?"
I couldn’t find the glory hole.
ROTFLMAO!!! I was thinking something along that line.
Pocket change, he’s worth 100’s of Billions.
Ha! You beat me!
Seems that Rudy G. tried to do something similar right after 9/11 and was shot down cold....no way in h@!! did they (the Dems) want him around another term.
Thanks. I knew that pose reminded me of something. Nailed it.
Sometimes a person who wants something very badly ends up regretting that he receives it.
I wonder if this will happen with Bloomberg and his third term?
He’s a former Democrat. How does this deny them City Hall?
What? no toliet paper?
DeDe Bloomburg!!

The antigun sob! He's bad news for gun owners!
He is a dem .. he didn’t deny the dems anything
Just by actually being a Dem. I understand he is a dino, but it still feels good to know that the rats can’t come out and say that they control NYC, like they do Chicago. Not explicitly, anyway.

When you get a few minutes, I’m curious about your thoughts on the NYC mayoral race. For a while there it was looking dicey for Bloomberg. What’s the story with Thompson, the democRAT? I admit I haven’t followed this race at all...
Originally, I was suggesting that people vote for Thompson just to get Bloomberg out, but when Thompson played the race card on Giuliani and the Republicans in general, I suddenly remembered who these people were: the black Democrat machine in New York City who only care about race and coddling of criminals and who hate the cops. So I said later that I favored Christopher instead.
I had compiled a list of twenty good reasons not to vote for Bloomberg but only posted the first ten of them.
This race was much closer than people thought it would be, and opinion is that the most resentment came from the barely legal third-term business and the way he buys everyone out. Other negatives were his bombardment of people with TV ads and glossy four-color mailings day by day, both of which seem to have backfired on him, and his incorrigible nannyism. Of course the gun grabbing is important to us, but I doubt that this played a role in the outcome in NYC, where the sentiment is for gun control. Same with abortion: important to conservatives but most New Yorkers favor abortion rites.
