True story. Happened in 2008. A true story that proves winning has nothing to do with the scoreboard. Watch till the end.

The batter and the opposing girl who suggested the resolution are now on a speaking tour together.
A bunch of young ladies with lessons we should all hear.

When I played football in high school, I was a defensive back. Whenever I got bit and an opposing player scored a touchdown on me, I always high fived him, congratulated him on a good play.

The girls that carried her around played for Central Washington. Folks in Washington State are typically pretty nice - especially on the east side.
That girl’s homerun was her first (and only) homerun of her college career.

Especially on the east side. I live on the west side, and I’m not sure that would have happened.
In fact, Archbishop Murphy High was undefeated in football and had their title vacated on some highly ridiculous technicality. They came back the next season and laid waste to the league, the year after their legendary coach died.
