I liked Jericho, but Battlestar Galactica was about 100 times better both in terms of writing, production, acting, and overall quality.

I remember the miniseries, I thought I was the only one. My wife gave me the deer in the headlights look when I mentioned it. Is the same thing in a tv show?

Try to find a station playing “The Unit” in reruns or current episodes. Not a bad show.

John Carpenter’s They Live is a more appropriate film to symbolize life under Obamunism.

Barack Obama’s personal propagandist, Shepard Fairey (the man behind the Hope and Change posters) made a career off of swiping the slogans “OBEY” and “This Is Your God” from They Live. There is even an OBEY “Giant” lapel pin on one of Fairey’s alternate prints of Obama (he made 3 different ones).

Gotta have that fancy cable or satellite TV first. Too far from town for cable. Up here in Fairbanks the dishes have to be dang near horizontal to work. Direct TV came up and said if I can talk my neighbors into cutting down their trees, then I could maybe get it. Until then, SOL. :-(

My wife and are looking forward to this series and we will be watching. We faithfully watched the original mini series and television show. Speaking of which, the original V mini series was being shown in it's entirety so we DVR's it and started watching it yesterday. The frightening thing was the fact that what we were watching/the fictional story V, broadcast so many years ago is very close to what we are experiencing in America right now! My wife and I were stunned at the eerie similarities and we both came to the same conclusion without even talking to each other! “This is America today!” Yes it was and is scary. All we needed to do was substitute Obamessiah for the alien leader and his Obamabots and the “progressives” in and out of the media, government, politics and our communities for the alien ground troops.

Obama and his minions, like the aliens promise us all "Peace and Safety" when the reality is this: They want to control and EAT US!

I have a feeling the new V will draw the same parallels with the Obama administration (It can not help but do so.) while upping the stakes along with superb special effects. Go Mr. Abrams!
