Diversity?

Diversity. Do we have it? What happens when we get it the way liberals want us to have it?

We have plenty of diversity now. America embraces all races and religions. We don;t embrace violence in pursuit of religion, unless you count the liberal view that all things Islam are good. Heck, we even embrace gender identity (whatever the hell that is).

What do we end up when we achieve perfect liberal diversity? We get an entire world of people about 5'8"-5'10" with brownish olive skin and straight black hair. (That's what geneticists predict we'll get after all races have interbred into one homogeneous pot.) There won't be any more black, white, yellow, brown, red or olive folks, just a single standard human race. Sure, we'll get the occasional throwback with freckles - or blonde hair - or red hair, but we'll mostly be the homogeneous standard human.

I suppose we'll all be eating pretty much the same foods because, along with the interbreeding, we'll be combining food likes and dislikes household by household.

Will we all want to hear the same music? See the same movies? It's possible. When everyone is genetically identical, the won't be anyone different to poke fun at or be mad at.

You get the idea.

If the world embraces diversity in the liberal style, we end up with no diversity at all. That stinks - I like redheads and they'll all be gone.

I know it's a sophomoric approach, but you get the idea. When we embrace other cultures too closely, we blend until both our cultures disappear, then the variety - oops, gotta be PC about it, uh, DIVERSITY is lost.

I dunno, I'm rambling. What do you think? I'd rather you be you and I'll be me, then we can reap the rewards of true diversity by sharing cultures and ideas.

Diversity = Racism

I totally reject diversity as a goal. Within a work environment, I would want smart people with integrity. That's it. People of that type come in all colors, shapes and sizes. I don't pay attention to those details: all I'm looking for are a consistent blend of intelligence and integrity.

Any attempt to bring diversity into the equation is an attempt at sabotage.

“Diversity” is merely a liberal ploy to DIVIDE and CONQUER.

Humans are judged solely by their DIFFERENCES - SKIN COLOR.

As a Christian, I find this repulsive.

Christians are NOT to judge by APPEARANCE - i.e. SKIN COLOR.

Instead, Christians are to make righteous judgment calls NOT based on APPEARANCE.

The OUTWARD BEHAVIOR from the HEART, and NOT APPEARANCE is how we are to JUDGE anyone.

Is Thomas Sowell a “good person”?

YES!

What's in his heart and NOT his SKIN COLOR that makes him a “good person”.

Is Rev. Wright a “good person”?

NO!

He is VILE and this comes from the HEART and SHOWS in his behavior - TALK and ACTIONS.

Diversity=Tribalism

Sometimes we’re told to celebrate diversity. Sometimes we’re told by gay groups to celebrate diversity in gender orienting and all that. I want to be tolerant of people but don’t want to celebrate certain things. I don’t understand homosexuality, and don’t want to understand all the trans-gender confusion issues, so don’t want to celebrate it.

As far as different ethnicities are concerned, the liberals are pleased with that as long as everyone is liberal. Ethnic diversity on the Supreme Court in the person of Clarence Thomas is not ok per the liberals. But it was ok when Thurgood Marshall was on the Court.

And with gender, they only want liberals. It was ok for Hillary Clinton to run for president because she is liberal. But it will not be ok if Sarah Palin or any other conservative woman were ever to run for president.

Liberalism trumps everything in the diversity debate.

I figure, if diversity was so wonderful, they wouldn’t have to constantly nag at us to “celebrate” it.
