It is in this spirit that I am writing to let you know I am supporting Bill Owens for Congress and urge you to do the same.
Its not in the cards for me to be your representative, but I strongly believe Bill is the only candidate who can build upon John McHugh's lasting legacy in the U.S. Congress. John and I worked together on the expansion of Fort Drum and I know how important that base is to the economy of this region. I am confident that Bill will be able to provide the leadership and continuity of support to Drum Country just as John did during his tenure in Congress.

Expected.
Newt, you're an ass.
She just saved time and money from "throwing her support to Pelosi"... yawn...
liberals are liars... typical.
Aside from being the fourth posting of this article it is speculation from a lefty rag at best.
I hope Newt doesn’t get all wee-weed up.
such a mild word. Multiply it by 100 and apply it to 85% of the republican party as we know it
Did anyone think differently?
Another traitor down the drain before she could do any damage.
I just got a breaking news alert from Fox saying she has really done this.
5 post of an Editorial by a supporter of Ownes
She sure showed the GOP just how wrong they could be, but the GOP is probably too stupid to get a clue.
In Bill Owens, I see a sense of duty and integrity that will guide him beyond political partisanship. He will be an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York. Bill understands this district and its people, and when he represents us in Congress he will put our interests first.
Please join me in voting for Bill Owens on Tuesday. To address the tough challenges ahead, we must rise above partisanship and politics and work together. There's too much at stake in this election to do otherwise.
This shows how stupid the Local GOP was in picking her as a candidate in the first place.
Steele should be fired.
Here we go Freepers. It’s official. This is what the GOP leadership gets for pumping $900,000 of GOP donations into DeDe’s campaign?
A lot of heads should be rolling tommorrow.
Starting with Michael Steele, Pete Sessions, John Bohinor, and Cantor. This is what they get for spending that kind of money.
Off with their leadership heads.
A woman scorned....they must have refused to give her something for her support.
What a jackass.
Seen this. Care to comment?
This is a release by her. Check the link.
What support?
WOW! Fox never did any breaking news for ME! You must be special!
Even with Sarah Palin’s thanks for acting “selflessly” which I just responded to on another thread, she is unmoved from her original position, which was not hard to see.
There was no question that she was a Liberal Democrat.
NOW Hoffman must distinguish himself from BOTH of them, or should I say , just Owens?
glad she did this, it shows them up perfectly. this was a textbook example of a RINO.
Dude,
You had better read the article. This is a press release.
It is not speculation, which is why I posted it.
Aside from being the fourth posting of this article it is speculation from a lefty rag at best.
Wrong. Seem the article and read the quotes or look up thread at my previous post #13 and read the excerpts.
“Speculation???”
- Did you even read the article????
Since announcing the suspension of my campaign, I have thought long and hard about what is best for the people of this District, and how to answer your questions. This is not a decision that I have made lightly.

An email.
The person that the GOP poured thousands of money behind is now backing the Democrat.
And yet, they expect to be taken seriously? Or, do they?
This was a conspiracy to deprive the voters of a real choice in the first place.
I smell a rat in the GOP.
So she’s a RAT. We knew that already.
The “two party system” is meant to be a one-party system.
Hey Newt, how do you feel about your buddy DeDe now..throwing support to a Dem..If you see someone walking around wearing a paper bag over his head, it will be Newt Gingrich because he is wearing egg all over his face. Who really didn’t see this coming
Hell hath no fury....
I wonder if Newt still wants to keep her at the top of his list of seconding speeches for his nominationation at the next RNC presidential convention.
Poor Mojave.
DeDe is a rat bastard..she makes Arlen Spector look decent..and that says A LOT
“Scozzafava released the following statement at 2 :06 p.m.:”
Thanks a lot Newt. Idiot.
My aplologies for reposting. However, if I am not mistaken, those articles were speculation that DeDe was quietly lending her support to Owens.
This is the press release from DeDe.
Publically supporting Owens.
I meant no harm.
Somebody went trick or treating as a RINO? lol..
it is speculation from a lefty rag at best.
not anymore, apparently.
Newt will never recover from this...
You have neutered Newt!
But we already knew that.
Newt has done us the favor of clearly showing himself to be completely and utterly irrelevant. A bunch of nobodies on the internet knew more than him, showed themselves to be way more politically savvy than him, and the “GOP” candidate confirmed all of the above.
Mind-boggling.

No, I don't expect to hear a response back...
Yeah, but with this endorsement, Owens now has a better shot at winning. I wonder if DeDe’s supporters will all flock to Owens now
You did the right thing by posting this piece. It should be in breaking news, imo
