*sigh* When SNL was funny.
Brings back memories.
When they were hungry, creative and funny.
Maybe Loren Michaels should find a protege’?
Paging Jane Hall...
They were a riot. Sad how its changed.
Thanks for sharing.....
I’m Chevy Chase and you’re not....

Jane Hall: “I’m also frankly uncomfortable with Beck who I think should be called out as somebody whose language is way over the top and scary.”
We’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses. - Hit it.

You see, we’re on a mission from God.
Do you see what you've done?

Not Really!
Great goodbye! She was so clueless in siding for evil! Like most leftists.
I never heard what James Kilpatrick and Shana Alexander thought of SNL's version of Point-Counterpoint.
That wonderful skit is what, thirty years old? And yet, it seems more news-worthy today than it did then. Go figure.
“Dried up, bagged out, slunken meat...”
Helen Thomas, HELLO!?
“Jane, I guess what you and Michele are saying is that when you’re on your backs, the meter’s running.”
There’s some real predators out there.
It's "slunk meat." I'm sure Ackroyd meant "slunk" to have the William Burroughs definition given in his novel Naked Lunch: a filthy calf under six weeks old, too young to be sold for food. "Slunk meat" is thus illegal and is likely to sicken whoever eats it.
Since I can't find that definition of "slunk" in an online dictionary, maybe Burroughs just made it up.
