STOCKHOLM — Shopping for oatmeal, Helena Bergstrom, 37, admitted that she was flummoxed by the label on the blue box reading, “Climate declared: .87 kg CO2 per kg of product.”
“Right now, I don’t know what this means,” said Ms. Bergstrom, a pharmaceutical company employee.
But if a new experiment here succeeds, she and millions of other Swedes will soon find out. New labels listing the carbon dioxide emissions associated with the production of foods, from whole wheat pasta to fast food burgers, are appearing on some grocery items and restaurant menus around the country.

You know carbohydrates release the most hyrocarbons into the astmosphere. we should ban Sugar, but I know the liberals will fight this like hell.

Maybe they could sell them in 200lb bags to Costco.

Won’t be long before all products in the USA list the CO2. This is complete madness. But even leftist madness has a purpose - to prepare us for the carbon tax.
Get em’ while you can. Soon they will have to make them from carrots.
I suppose beans, curry and other gas producing foods would carry an environmental danger warning or be subject to quotas.

This global warming fraud has been the golden goose for fascists and statists everywhere. They have the means to enact controls on resources worldwide through willing dupes who want to believe the worst about everything, especially their fellow human beings.
Think of the manpower and weaponry a world-wide overthrow of governments would have required in the old days...
