Yes and the colors are perfect....white, black and a touch of red.
they are! and they appear to have a close-knit, loving family and i give them props for that.
While it would make a nice Christmas card, or make that kwanza or ramadan or whatever, it is too casual and the background is cluttered for the official WH photograph.
Hey, let’s act like we’re two years old and crawl all over Mom! And with all this money the taxpayers are paying the professional photographer, let’s stand in front of not one but two doorways, freaky patterned wallpaper and have a painting frame the little kid’s head.
People had the best Palin family (minus son in service) pic but it was ruined by McPain! As always, Piper is a ham!

Exactly! Everything you said is bugging me, too. Also, the two on the left with predominantly white clothing make the photo visually unbalanced. The white makes that side of the photo appear heavier.
That is a good picture. The colors are complimentary and the composition is good.

Seriously, the kids are cute, though. This'll be the only time in their lives that that will be true. Despite having the privilege of growing up in the WH, they'll surely grow up to be 'angry', just like their parents.
All previous Presidents respected the dignity of the office and wore a suit in the White House. 0bama goes out of his way not to wear a suit to work. He should get the respect he deserves — none.
