A thread for the remainder of the 2009 ALCS (Angels, Yankees) and NLCS (Phillies, Dodgers)
Thank you Jimmy Rollins. Go Phils.
ping
Tonight Yankees (Sebathia) at Angels (Kazmir) 7:57 ET
Fox, ESPN Radio
Wed Oct 21:
Dodgers(Kershaw) at Phillies (Hamels) 8:07 ET TBS, ESPN Radio
go Phils, go Angels; ABY (Anybody But Yankees)
You Red Sox fans whine more than Obama’s White House.
GO YANKEES!
You didn’t think to start a thread at all. Welcome to this one, however.
We know you Red Suck fans.
You started this thread to bash the Yankees!
Crybaby!
MLB is already losing lots of money, because the Boston Red Sox are no longer in the playoffs. A Yankees-Red Sox series would definitely get much more attention worldwide then the present Yankees-Angels series. Oh well.
I think Padilla is pitching for LA tomorrow.

Yes you may be right, I was taking the info from yahoo.
Oh yeah... GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But you heard Reagan Man—the Red Sox suck and are crybabies :) But yeah, and Fox & TBS may be losing on some dough
Of course we’re just cheering on laundry. Ask a Yankee fan
in 2004 what they thought of the guy who hit a grand slam in
game 7 (you remember, when the Sox became the only team
to come back from being 0-3), Mr. Johnny Damon.
Oh, and Bobby Abreu, who got tagged out going past second?
I believe he was a Yankee fairly recently.
It was fun hearing the end of yesterday’s game, which I heard at work via WCBS. “Ballgame over. Angels win!”
I don’t care whether the Yankees win or the Angels. The Phillies will take either of them out like yesterday’s trash...
ROFLMBO!
TEXEIRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was stationed in Jersey pretty close the Philly. I went to more Phillies games than Yankees games and grew to like them a lot. I was happy about last night. However, gotta stay with the home team. Yankees and Phillies would be a good series though.
It’s a wonder how the league ever survived for a century while the Sawks were the laughingstock of pro sports. Regardless, there’s no way MLB will ever make a dime unless the team from the country’s 24th largest market is a fixture in the World Series.
Not quite. I said the Red Sox fans suck and YOU'RE a crybaby. Jeez, you can't even ping me. Typical Red Suck fan. Talk trash behind peoples backs. You are a desperate weenie.
24th largest market? Really?
Yep. Smaller than El Paso, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Columbus and Hempstead, NY to name a few.
Kershaw was scheduled originally. They’re going with Padilla because it’s an elimination game and he pitched so well on Friday.
Isn’t Padilla on short rest? Oh, boy...
Anyway, apparently the fox guys think they should be the umps, and also take shots at Girardi when he courteously gives them 30 seconds that he didn't have to.
clearly the umps need help. bad calls all around.
Got the requisite post all set.
CRACK!
I see the prettiest girl in the stands is wearing a Yankees cap.
Awfully quiet in this thread.
too bad nobody can post “yankees lose” tonight. those posts are so...childish.
Go Yankees!
they are.
I guess instead of the “Freeway Series” it’s going to be the “Jersey Turnpike” Series.
Hey, yeah. Maybe they can push through a toll increase and windfall gas tax in time.
One away.
whoosh.
two strikes away.
you wanna do the honors?
sorry, I meant to ask Reagan Man.
Yankees WIN!
which obviously means the other team lost, but it’s unsportsmanlike and sophomoric to make an issue of that tautological truth.
LOL You go that right.
Theeeeeeeeee Yankees win!

See yuz Thursday.
All's well that ends well.
ogawd that J&R commercial is hilarious! The gut stomping on his bluetooth...
Sorry if I didn’t ping anyone other than the one person who wondered if we were going to do a thread for the rest of the playoffs, and that includes you, Reagan Man. Enjoy the rest of the baseball playoffs RM, and don’t have too much champagne. (also please read my PM, RM)

Yeah, don’t even bother to play the rest of the games, just give it to the Yankees and enjoy your champagne. 2009 World Champion New York Yankees. (Just read article via yahoo sports about botched umpire calls but they would have won
anyway.)
Gloat away. I give up.
Great pics.
Thanks for the ping.
Keep’em coming.
