Glen Spey Oktoberfest at MountainView Returns
Historic Manor Celebrates 2nd Annual Oktoberfest, October 10 & 11 in Glen Spey, NY
After a tremendous Oktoberfest last year, Verkhovyna - MountainView Manor will continue this new tradition for its second consecutive year on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. MountainView Manor is located at 369 High Road, Glen Spey, New York and is home to the historic Ardmore Mansion, which has been recently renovated and has been hosting weddings, banquets, and parties with huge success since its re-opening in July 2008.
We are very excited to bring back the Oktoberfest festival for this second year, said Orest Blanarovich, general manager, MountainView Manor. After a great response of over 1500 party-goers last year, we are hoping to continue to raise the bar for entertainment, food and drinks this year.
The MountainView Oktoberfest will kick off with a pub night on Friday night with no cover charge, where the weekends imported Oktoberfest beers will be premiered. The festivities Saturday and Sunday will start at noon, and admission is $5 per day. The festival will feature traditional German food, imported Oktoberfest specialty beers, live bands, dancing, and Jagermeister girls handing out Jagermeister and Barenjager promotional materials. Performing bands are The Ablemen, Anna-Maria and Mountain Tops, with DJ polkas in between. Saturday night dance - zabava at the Ballroom and Karaoke at the Bar. Scrumptious Sauerbratten is being marinated, Bratwursts, MV famous steak sandwiches, Hamburgers will be served, with authentic Apple Strudel and Black Forest cake to follow for desert. Please see the attached poster. Come and join the fun, rain or shine! Leafs are turning color, enjoy the spectacular drive along the Delaware river on the way to Oktoberfest!
In a very short time, MountainView Manor has become one of the areas leading wedding and banquet facilities. Family owned and operated, it has become known for its great food, all-inclusive wedding packages, and the ambiance of a restored historic mansion. The Ardmore Mansion features Victorian styled hotel rooms, a large dining room, two bars, and large decks that allow guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Catskill Mountains. That’s not that far from us Joe but I’ve got a laundry list of things to be done on Sat and I’ll be at CJRPC on Sunday for an all day shoot. Sounds like fun though.
Leo, sounds like a lot of fun. I love the Catskills (and beer). Will see if I could make it on Sunday to the festival.
