Female Hub officer says colleague raped her
Boston Globe ^

A Boston police officer has filed a restraining order against another officer in the department, alleging that he sexually assaulted her - possibly impregnating her - and then stalked her, according to court records.

The accusation has roiled the department, which is investigating the allegations, according to several law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case.

Both officers have been temporarily stripped of their guns and have been asked to stay away from the department during the investigation, but no one has been disciplined, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media about the case.

The Globe is withholding the names of both officers. The newspaper does not name people who allege they have been sexually assaulted. The accused officer’s name is being withheld because he has not been charged with a crime or disciplined by the department.

Strange story it will probably be big in a couple of days. If allegations our true or false one of these cops is going to jail.

Due to the facts of the case there can be essentially no evidence beyond he-said, she-said. It is agreed on all sides that sexual intercourse occurred. The only issue involved is the state of mind of the woman involved.

I’m quite curious how any jury can determine guilt beyond reasonable doubt based solely on weighing one person’t testimony against another’s.

At best it would seem to be deciding guilt or innocence based on who tells the best story. Most of us have known excellent liars as well as people who get nervous under pressure and probably couldn’t tell the truth with a straight face on the stand.

The “victim” also accused the perp. to be a killer and was fearful of her life as well as her husband. She also wanted to get an abortion but the perp. alledgy stopped her. This is a crazy story and at the end one of them is going to jail. If her story is true than the Boston police have a big problem. At the least the biggest question is how did she become a member of the SWAT team?

She's possibly-pregnant, but not sure yet? Or most certainly pregnant, but unable to determine who fathered her kid?

It could be her husband’s kid. Or it could be someone elses; you would have to do a dna test on the baby.
