The Obama's are flying a day apart to Copenhagen to pitch Chicago for the 2016 Olympics. I just saw Michelle Obama getting off what they are calling AIR FORCE TWO. The President is arriving tomorrow on AIR FORCE ONE. Think of the carbon footprint these two limousine liberals are spewing all over the planet. And, the average taxpayer is taking it in the shorts on this. But, what the hell, he is the One to follow. Go get ém, lemmings.

However, it does seem silly to spend this much money on getting the Olympics. If I understand the history, only the Olympics in Los Angeles, CA has ever made money.

The “Air Force Two” designation is for any fixed wing aircraft carrying the Vice President of the United States. Just as “Air Force One” is an fixed wing aircraft with the current Pres__ent (or President if we have one) on board.
The plane that typically carries the Pres__ent is a VC25. Though he has used other planes as well. I think for the New York “date night” excursion they flew up in a C-37B. For that trip, the C-37B was “Air Force One.”
I can’t get to a TV right now. Did the First Lady fly over in another VC25? Or did they send the VC25 that was Air Force One back to pick her up? Either way, this sounds like a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. I don’t begrudge the first family from getting together, and if schedules required separate trips, that’s OK. But a C-37B would have been a better choice for shuttling the first lady over to catch up with Pres__ent Obama.

These details include security, communications, protocol, logistics that boggle the mind and transportation that most people never see. Several Air Force cargo planes of equipment are loaded and flown to the destination with armored limos, security personnel from the Secret Service and the relevant military branches, fuels specialists, etc. A National Airborne Operations Command Post 747 from Offutt AFB, NE will accompany him to keep POTUS in constant communications in case of national or word emergency.
We are now up to three 747s, multiple cargo planes and costs for personnel who fly commercial ahead of POTUS. If FLOTUS flies separately, add a C-32 (757) for her and her staff, entourage, hangers-on etc, with attendant security, logistics, etc. Add a few more million dollars, though many personnel in Denmark will cover preparations for both POTUS and FLOTUS."

Hardly just two planes. Whenever the President travels there is a fleet of cargo planes bringing the Presidential limo, security vehicles, communications gear, food etc.

Isn’t Michelle an intellectual like her husband? After all, didn’t they both get their JD’s from Harvard. I suppose we should be impressed but I’m not. They are the first affirmative action President and First Lady. If Obozo had been 100% white he would never have even been considered.
