You may have never thought you could get this political insight from a sports commentator, but former NBA Detroit Pistons star-turned-host of "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" on Fox Sports Network John Salley has defied expectations.
Salley recently appeared on September 23 edition of "The Adam Carolla" podcast and asked Carolla a very pointed and insightful question.
"I have a question - do you hate Obama?" Salley asked. "Why are so many people who now hate him after just 266 days they loved him? All of white America. Not all of em but the majority."

What gives Sally the right to ask such a Racist comment.
How about, why does Black America hate white people? Answer that you smarta$$.
News alert: I’ve never “loved” 0bama.
Silly Salley - I don’t hate the ‘bamster - I just hate everything that he stands for...;’}
Because we are White and everybody knows that our skin color makes us all racists.
Anymore dumb questions?
Further proof that the most racist among us are those we are told are unable to be racist (according to Spike Lee).
Maybe they all read Time Magazine and thought why the hell should I'?
why does black America love him?
I wonder why he does’nt ask Reverend Manning?
I think this is all part of dumbing down America. Not this guy in particular, but the idea that anyone can be president. We promote this idea all the time - you can do whatever you want - you just have to want it. Well, no, you have to work hard and become qualified. But that part always gets left out.
So I think people are looking at the presidency as just another job. Then, one candidate is as good as another - no special qualifications involved - and the only reason we would oppose obama would have to be because he’s black.
I’ve had friends tell me (before the election) that it doesn’t matter who’s in office - they’re all the same. I really think that’s what people believe, and if they do, then it makes sense that they think like this guy does.
Probably because our President does not love America.
LOL, dittos on that.

Your BLACK Brother got elected soley because LOTS of White People Voted For him.
I guess Salley doesn’t realize President Carter’s past when it comes to race, huh?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!
Exactly. Everything I’ve read about his career in Georgia indicates he played the race-baiting game very well.
Why doesn’t black America love liberty and freedom any more?
What’s the alternative, a permanent poltical class?
Salley was trying to make a joke once on his sports show when Bret Favre came up. Salley said, “He comes from Kill (all the Black people or brothers - soto voce) Mississippi” and the others said incredulously “What!?” and he just laughed. Yea, ha ha
No, that’s not what I meant. But when I hear obama speak of the decisions he’s making in regard to our national security, for example, I just think about the fact that he has no experience at all in matters like this. Even if he were “right” ideologically, he would still be too inexperienced for the job. I definitely think anyone can aspire to be president and achieve that, but it needs to be someone with judgment and background.
Now, after his push for socialism and redistribution of wealth, after seeing the racists and radicals he's surrounded himself with, after seeing the lack of transparency in his administration, and after seeing that he is not about consensus and compromise - but is about Chicago strong arm politics, they have rethought their position. The reality is that these people weren't racist before, and they're not racist now. Their buyers remorse is based on who he is and what he appears to believe, not about the color of his skin. To the contrary, most of white America was happy to have the first black president elected.
By the way, do you think all of your non-black fans, who contributed to the financial success you've enjoyed as a basketball player and now as an announcer, are racist?
Obama’s problem is that he thinks he’s smarter than everyone, and he’s been led to believe that his entire life. I’m sure he refuses to listen to his advisers and simply cannot see that he could possibly be wrong about these things.
This is a crutch black people on TV/radio/ in movies, etc. use, and it still works because white people still laugh at it. Although I bet a lot of it is out of guilt. It is an old, tired, and lazy fallback, but it is still used like the 'F' ad 'S' words in lieu of talent.
Maybe it will stop when white people just stop laughing at it.
Do you love somebody who hates you and is holding a gun to your head?
It isn’t love; it is an increasing degree of loathing for his increasingly socialist actions.
Fixed it.

Salley is a racist. Obama sucks because managing America is just a tad more than Michigan Ave. The SOB is lost.
More like Salley is a racialist ignoramus. Race defines the lives of people like Salley who see virtually everything through the false prism of race. Salley, like most libs, lives in a liberal bubble. It is very difficult for them to step outside the bubble and understand or see things as the people outside their bubble see things. The bubble people wonder why everyone hates their man (or woman) never bothering to question the things their side has done to foster hatred.
Obama is dividing even more. Good Call. People out of work do not care what the skin color is. This moron is selling out and the recovery is long to say the least.
never heard of this kid. just why does his opinion count for anything anyway? yep, smarta$$ is good way to describe this idiot.
They thought he was going to be one of those cool black presidents like those played by Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman, or Dennis Haysbert.
