New SNL skit makes fun of Glenn Beck (Only a link can be posted per FR rules. Video at site)
Not too many “comedy” outlets making fun of the damned “magic negro” huh?
Cause he is a tragic comedy.
GET THE HOOK.
Unless Sarah Palin is going to be on, I’ll probably never see it.
I’ve pretty much made it a practice in recent years only to watch SNL when Sarah Palin is on.
I thought it was pretty good myself.
They could have done better.......I think.
Congrats!! Glenn
Looks like you made it!!!
Driving the Left NUTS!!! GLENN you did it!
This is what liberal losers do when they can’t win an argument.
The new generation must have a different sense of humor from mysloef, I havent watched SNL since Belushi overdosed.
Saturday Night Live? That went off the air after Belushi and Akroyd left, didn’t it?
Am I going crazy or does something not add up here?

“Last night, Saturday Night Live’s (SNL) Weekend Update touched on...”
Has SNL started airing on Thursdays in Salt Lake City?
They really didnt put much effort into that one.
And real nice of them to still act like cowards when it comes to Mmm Mmmm Bama.
If you cant even take on the guy at the top, why should anyone be impressed when you do a half-assed job going after Beck.
SNL has never been “live,” IIRC.
Luke warm response from the studio audience!
True, although it was a good impression of Beck’s mannerisms. I say this as a fan of Beck who thinks SNL has gone to hell over the past few years, especially under the gynocracy of Tina Fey (who has since left).
Relax everyone. i’m sure next week they’ll have the skit with Michelle Obama wearing belts up to her armpits looking like a total fashion idiot. (sarc)
Weak!!
Look who’s talking: NBC.
SNL is sooooo yesterday....and not the least bit funny.
btt
That was funny.
Btw, is Beck back on his meds yet? ;^)
No. It’s a NEW spin off show based on the News Update segment from SNL.
You remember incorrectly. The original show was very much live.
This show—some SNL Update something or other—actually airs on Thursdays.
Oh. The one with Carlin?
Only a few times when it hasn’t been live.
There is an SNL-type show on Thursdays now, which is just 30 minutes. It’s likely taped the same day it airs.
But the original 90-minute SNL is generally 100% live on Saturdays. Only a handful of times since 1975 were they on a tape delay (for instance, when Andrew Dice Clay and Richard Pryor hosted they were afraid foul language might slip through).
When not being serious, our FReepers could write a great comedy show that would wipe SNL off the map!!
SNL is so yesteryear. Making fun of a Conservative, how cliche.
Pray for America
Sponsored by TARP and General Electric.

MAD TV is funnier too bad it cancel
Alinsky Rules
Interesting. I thought they just taped badly.
Ah... I haven’t watched much TV since November, guessed I missed that one. Thanks for clarifying!
Satire only works if the audience knows what it is you're mocking. I'll bet only .087% of them ever heard of this "Glenn Beck".
That’s it?
Weak.
I like good political humor, regardless of the party being needled, but this was just...weak.
BTW, there is a wealth of material in the White House, but the left leaning shows like SNL won’t touch it.
Michelle Obama’s fat ass alone could carry a show for years...
FRTV, great idea! Not that anyone would ever put it on the air, but I’m sure some talented FReepers could get some Youtube videos going or something.
Is that a white guy who plays Zero? (I don’t know) I rather see him crying and eating M&M’s.
I was a huge fan during SNL's golden age in the Carter years, it was even good in the days of Eddie Murphy. Although, Al Frankin was an unfunny a$$hat even back then. Over the years it's gotten less and less funny
Used to watch snl religiously, haven’t in years. It just isn’t funny.
Yeah, me too. I used to look forward to it, SNL and then where I lived they followed with Monty Python which back then I thought was very funny.
I’m pretty sure he is white. SNL must be racist! How dare they.;)
I enjoyed it also. Yes, I know that the MSM hates us, as does SNL, but regardless of our politics, sometimes we have to kick our shoes off and laugh at ourselves. This is funny (and I bet GB is giggling.
I’d watch Viva La Bam or Jackass before I watch SNL.
