So Jimmy Carter thinks that opposition to ObamaCare is somehow based upon racism?
How does he reconcile the fact that Obama started off with a near 75% approval rating and now has an approval rating hovering barely above 50%? Did millions of Obama supporters suddenly become racists in the past 8 months?
I guess all of the opposition to HillaryCare was somehow based upon anti-white racism, too. Oops. That doesn't fit the media's template though.
For 8 years under Bush, Democrats said that "dissent was the highest form of patriotism." Now Democrats say that dissent against Obama's policies is racist.
The Obama Joker posters? Racist. But the Bush Joker posters weren't racist. Hmmm. Tea Party people, 9/12 marchers, they too, according to the Partisan Media, are also racists.
Obama has a glorious opportunity to do more than just merely dismiss accusations that opposition to his policies is based upon racism. He has an opportunity to tell Jimmy Carter, Maureen Dowd and the usual liberal suspects to stick a sock in it and quit race baiting.
So much for Obama being THE post-racial president...

Whenever someone says the reason something terrible is happening is racism, they know they’ve lost. They’ve lost because they have no argument - only an allegation.
When Mexican illegals plead for US citizenship because they are “human beings,” it’s the same deal. They have no argument - only last ditch attempts to validate their case.
But, you, I gotta give something to the Democrats: They know that politics is a blood sport, and they play accordingly. The people of America are waking up to that; whereas the GOP is still somewhat comatose. If they wake up, there’s a chance to take back the House in 2010.
Neither do I.
The polls may say that Obama is hovering at around 50%, but they are skewed, just like they were skewing the polls when they had Obama ahead of McCain by 10-14% right before the election.
Dislike being so negative, however, will the worst instrument to slavery in the US - The Federal Reserve - go away, will we get out of the United Nations, will the cabinet etc be composed of people w/o being members of the CFR?
I’m waiting for his approval to drop into the single digits. Then it can be said, “We are all racists now.” (with apologies to Tricky Dick Nixon re his Keynesian quote).
I have to wonder how many people would still vote for him based on the idea of, “At least he’s TRYING to fix things.”

Never in the history of mankind has so much attention been given to what someone as stupid as Jimmy Carter thinks. It’s a sad commentary on the intellectual condition of modern man. Jimmy, of course, thinks the voters who are regretting the goodwill they extended Obama are just ignorant, white crackers backsliding into their natural racism.
I still can’t believe 50% would have thought he was OK last year.
How in the hell can ANYONE now think he’s OK?
(I know, leaving aside the 13% who will support him no matter what—but I’m talking about thinking people)
