As I understand it, the Third Way is a bipartisan approach between the Left and Right where compromise allows a new way forward. This is based on the idea that, if everyone gives in, and does exactly what the Left wants, we can really progress rapidly to a Marxist utopia. This is The Third Way in a nutshell.
THIRD WAY MARK!
If memory serves me correctly, The Third Way was one of Bill Clinton’s babies or he at least supported it.
It was about co-ops and guilds rather than a complete free market or union/government-run industries.
I remember reading a book back in the 80's titled "The Third Way on Trial" detailing the failures of this so-called improved economic system.
Their economic models may not be that good, but thier fashion ones have some nice curves to them!
