The Times online is putting out some pictures drawn by the late Michael Jackson.
The 1st picture was drawn back in 1971.
It was a protest against the Vietnam War...
The second picture is more recent..
I think it is good he stuck to singing and dancing.
We are not worthy.
Should probably ask the "reporterette/psych" who said that those that were against the health care program are nuts.

Future self portrait. No nose.
Actually, Michael Jackson is an amazing sketcher and painter. Google his work.
Samples of his work:

It seemed he could draw in several styles. I would think that fairly unusual. Interesting video.
Can't exactly call BS but that collection of images shows an amazing range of quality from rank amateur to professional sketch artist.
If he actually did them all I wonder how many were very careful tracings?
It is common for amateur artists to work in a multitude of styles.
For a professional, the first time they produce a series of work that is recognizably by the same person is called their *breakthrough* and it is something aimed for by all beginning artists with any sense of art history.
As an artist, the cartoons look to me to be copied. The pencil portraits may be from photos. I didn’t see much that looked original or even as though it was drawn from life.
My critique would be that he had some ability, but it isn’t what I normally think of as talent, in that there was no evidence of *fresh eyes*, meaning a personal vision and the ability to compose in a manner that draws the viewer into the work. Actually, I see no evidence of composition in the pieces that are not copies. They are all just isolated cartoons and portraits centered on the page and there is no attempt to utilize color.
