Not necessarily. There are several diseases that are seen more in certain races than others, or that are more severe in certain races - an example is malaria as the sickle cell gene is somewhat protective against malaria.
If a race or ethnicity is more likely to have a gene protective against certain infections, those without the protective genes are more likely to get the disease, or it may be more severe.
High blood pressure and prostate cancer are more common and in a more aggressive form in blacks. Cystic fibrosis is more common in whites. Certain diseases are more common in asians or those of mediterranean descent.
There is NO “flu” that targets BLACKS and HISPANICS over WHITES. Gimme a break. You’re mixing apples and oranges. What’s really being played out through “race” is the idea that “whites” are better off economically. There is no evidence to suggest that this flu is targetting Blacks and Hispanics over Cacusians.

I think you are misunderstanding.
I'm not saying a flu strain "targets" anyone selectively - that would be ridiculous. I'm saying that some populations may be more susceptible to a particular flu strain, or have a more severe case. The statistics already indicate that unlike a more usual seasonal flu, mortality for H1N1 is higher in young adults than in the elderly.
This article in USA Today makes it clear what is meant - a study suggests that the Mestizo Indian population in Mexico is more genetically susceptible, and questions if that is why the mortality rate in Mexico from H1N1 was so high.
Knowing how this administration operates,

If this was any other administration, I’d be tempted to believe what USA Today believes. Since it is Obama’s administration, I believe nothing of what they say of the left leaning media that supports him.
