HELP! How can I delete my account??

Can someone please tell me how to delete my account? A friend talked me into creating an account, but I have found this just really isn't for me. I've looked everywhere I can think of, but have yet to find a way to disable/delete my account. Any help would be appreciated.

...you’ve only posted 4 times prior to this thread. Unless you wrote something that scares you enough to want a retraction, just walk away. To be blunt (and not mean-spirited), nobody will care what you wrote; nobody cares enough to link you with “AL_76” and go hunting down your four posts which will be smothered in the thousands of posts made per hour.

Couldn’t you just stop posting and reading, and get the same effect? I mean, the management will be happy to delete your account, but you sound like you’ve got a real fixation with this. Will you be unable to sleep until you know your FR account no longer exists? If they delete it, how will you know they don’t secretly reactivate it without your knowledge? Perhaps what you need is a therapist, more than an account deletion.

Now that I’ve read your handful of posts, I think you should reconsider and stick around. You sound sensible.
