TEXARKANA, Ark. — A woman who said evangelist Tony Alamo "married" her when she was 8 years old told federal jurors Thursday that he sexually assaulted her repeatedly until she dodged security cameras and roving guards to escape from his compound in 2006.
Her testimony came after another former underage bride of Alamo said she "married" the pastor at 14 through hurried whispers during visiting hours at a federal prison. That woman later noted inside a Bible the date Alamo first forced her to have sex, but left the name blank out of fear Alamo would beat her.

I’ve heard some strange sounds in the bedroom, but this one takes the cake:

Ol’ Tony ain’t too selective. I’m not sure they even have to be alive. Whatever, this POS needs to stay in jail forever.

As the father of two daughters, I’m hoping that he becomes somebody’s spouse in prison.
We’re quite familiar with ole Tony in Nashville. What he did with the corpse of his wife Susan is the stuff of legend.
Occasionally, their 'protectors' slip up and the thug buddies .... say we shall, "have their way with them". Motivates their client in a manner you would not believe.
I see Texarkana hasn’t changed much since I left 22 years ago.

Short version, he personally kept the corpse for sixteen YEARS (including stealing it at one point) expecting it would be “resurrected” (even keeping it on public display for a time). Real deranged stuff. You can read his Wikipedia entry to get an idea.

As far as I know, she’s in a Tulsa crypt for the past decade... 16 years after she died. Although I never met them, they kept a store in our downtown on Lower Broadway, a lot of country celebs bought their clothing. Very distinctive.

Man, I hate it when the LSM refers to groups and idiots like him, or the Phelps clan, as *fundamentalist*.
It gives deranged SOB's like them the impression of legitimacy and makes any conservative (or fundamental) group a bad name.
But then again, I suppose that's the intent.

In Australia, we had an individual who called himself "the little pebble", and said he had visions of the Virgin Mary. The Catholic Church cut him off, and warned everyone to have nothing to do with him. But he had quite a number of believers. They got letters "from Mary" telling them to let their young daughters have sex with the little pebble. They believed what the letters said ...
He is in jail now.
