Actually "Fixing" Cap and Trade and Socialized Health Care

If all "non-leftist" candidates for political office, in '09 and beyond, really don't have the definitive solutions to actually either "fixing" or actually "getting rid of" Cap and Trade, socialized health care, and everything else that's pro-leftist on all of the issues, then what's the point in even running for any political office? If this country is really screwed for, both, the short-term future and the long-term future, thanks to leftist legislation that's either already intact or will be soon enough, then what's really going on here with those running as the opposition to socialism?

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: capandtrade; future; healthcare
Is anybody even seriously discussing successful, fool-proof solutions to actually making the U.S. become a capitalistic country again and for always? All of politics here, as well as worldwide, seriously needs a "do over" asap!

Will the RINO GOP promise to repeal these things if they win Congress in 2010? or just promise to win in 2010 and then forget it?

My other serious concern is that all of the ongoing problems with “Massachusetts politics,” with the Democratic Party in complete, political dominance since the 1940’s and with the Massachusetts Republican Party a “weak shell” of itself in political opposition as well as full of leftist Republicans, has now also gone national! If the Massachusetts Republicans can be so clueless and so weak for so long in Massachusetts, then how is this exact, same political pattern and exact, same political situation also not really repeating itself at the national level for, possibly, the long-term?

It’s already happening...the young way overwhelmingly vote DFL now and they are too stupid to know any different because they are brainwashed in school about all things left...

I used to think that wasn’t true, but now, I’m convinced. We are on a crash course with a complete downgrade and loss of a great country...we’ll exist, but it will be a significanly less prosperous and worthwhile nation.
