Ladies,
What are we wearing to the Freeper Convention? Is the banquet formal? Business Casual? Casual? Clothing Optional? (just kidding!)
Since we will be in the same city as the 'Fashion Icon' we'll need to put our best foot (or arms as the case may be) forward!
What say you?

Wow — talk about ambivalence!
I know FReeper women are the most lovely women on the planet, and I want to enjoy their beauty with as skimpy and sexy outfits as possible.
But we also know that a certain degree of modesty is part of the Conservative milieu.
So, my take is to ask Ann Coulter what to wear and go with that!
And I will be there with camera and clipboard to keep track!
;) :)

What a gallant answer and offer! I’ll have to get Ann Coulter’s e-mail and ask her what she suggests and if she is coming.
I know rules are rules, but I don’t have a clue how to post a pic on here. Technology challenged....

And remember to factor in modesty as well.
We sure don’t want to be emulating liberal gals who dress immodestly, intentionally arousing men.

Not that this applies to the banquet but your question made me think of this advice which I always thought is pretty good
When in doubt a pair of velvet jeans and a good silk blouse can take you a lot of places.
Wish I could go but I’m just too far away ....hope you all have fun!

I’m not organizing the weekend; just trying to find out what folks are wearing to the dinner. There are several free events; meetings with one’s congress critters, a Freep at Walter Reed hospital to show support for the troops, the Tea Party march on the mall, other groups are also having meetings/meet-ups. Check the Freeper Convention threads for info on the other events and other sponsers. :)

Hi all! The dress is "Business Dress"! So that means very nice dresses for us lovely ladies! :)
I do know that after my casual attire during the day events at the mall in my slacks & Free Republic t-shirt, carrying my "special Freeper made foam five tong pitchfork", I will have to do a some work to make myself presentable for our great Saturday evening Freeper Banquet!! WHAT FUN IT WILL BE!
I hope Freepers who have not purchased their Convention tickets will do so this week! We are almost to our goal for July 31st! There is NOT a deadline on the tickets for quite a while, but if folks are planning to come anyway it sure will help us if you purchase early! See you in DC! Jean :)
