Vanity - Something fell behind the back seat of my car.

Is there a way I can get it back short of shoving my hands down blindly in there?

That question has plagued uncomfortable men since the invention of underwear.

Do you have the type of rear seats that lay down?

If not, most seats will pop out when you stick you hands down the back (of the horizontal seat) and pull forward.

In some cars the back seat can be removed. Don’t know about yours.

Take it to the shop, else you risk being bitten by the 10 legged car spider, or worse, the spork weasle.

Some seats are held in by clips, if you find where it seems tightly clipped, try gently pulling there and see if seat area pops out of clip, then work your way to next one until you can slip your hand in there. Trouble with autos these days is that those clips often break, and if not properly replaced you may have a rattle for the next few years.

Do your back seats fold down?

Careful answering that one.

My friends call me LEFTY. Two years ago, I blindly shoved my right arm betwixt the seat and the seat back, only to have my right arm SEVERED about 10 inches above the wrist, by the infamous backseat monster. Don't EVEN GO THERE.

Do your back seats fold down?

Only if there is a horny teenager on top of me.

It’s some type of device that mothers get for their kids and it makes them really quiet on long trips.

Not sure what a “D.S.” game is (so therefore don’t know the dimensions), but there are “mechanic’s friends” available for about 10-15 bucks at places like Pep Boys or Auto Zone.

They are flexible “grabbers” , about 2 feet long, that have retractable “fingers” that are thumb-button operated (like an extended Jeweler’s gem clamp), and can be snaked down into all sorts of nooks and crannies in a car to grab onto and retreive just about anything. It just takes some patience. If you don’t want to get one yourself, maybe your neighbor has one.

Discontinue the estrogen supplements and try again in a couple of weeks.

Cut a hole in the floorboards and shove your hands up blindly in there.
