We're receiving reports into the WACH FOX News Center about the death of a former Tennessee Titans quarterback.
According to various media sources, including FOX News, Steve McNair has been killed in Nashville, Tennessee.
The incident apparently happened near 2nd South and Lea Avenue. Nashville police are saying it looks like a double homicide.
A female victim was also found dead.

No it’s not. They say an unidentified woman was found with him. Hope and pray it wasn’t his wife. Can’t picture his four children without a father AND mother.
Damn, he always seemed to be a good guy. I don’t recall ever hearing anything bad about him.

Thanks for the link. A lot of people here seem to think that this is all a hoax. Algore has caused people to become very skeptical about anything coming out of Tennessee. I don’t blame them.

Someone first reported that it was a murder suicide, but that article was pulled quickly. Police haven’t publicly ruled anything out yet.

that is the condo complex. he recently opened a restaurant in Nashville. Crowd is gathering, according to the tv news.
I’m stunned. I was looking through anyone who may have had a report on it. Only thing I’ve see so far is the 2nd victim is a woman and that Nashville police are calling it a double homicide.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN says McNair’s wife is in Mississippi and has been informed of the news.
So the female victim is not McNair’s wife.
Police say they know who it is but not releasing the name until the next of kin has been informed.
Oh, so sorry. Such a tragedy, happening on a day when families get together for good times and good cheer.

I saw that on CNN’s report. That same report says the girl is his girlfriend and that it is her condo. Local news is saying that some other guy rents the condo and lets Steve stay there.
Anyway, the rumor at the crime scene is that she is his girlfriend and that she is a waitress at Opry Mills in Nashville.

McNair’s wife was out of town, so the culprit might be the boyfriend of McNair’s girlfriend. Unless Mrs. McNair knew about her husband’s cheating and had him whacked.
Does anyone know what kind of lifestyle the guy had??? Was he a family type guy or a high roller fast pace type? Perhaps this was domestic, but a lot of times this is some type of unseemly deal gone bad. He was a great player. RIP.
His wife was actually at their house in Nashville when the crap hit the fan today. Who knows what was going on between them...
McNair’s Escalade involved in DUI arrest this week
A car registered to Steve McNair and a 20-year-old woman was stopped two days ago on Broadway.
The driver and co-owner, Sahel Kazemi, was charged with driving under the influence and refusing to take a breath test. The car was a 2007 black Cadillac Escalade.
Earlier today, a black Escalade was towed from the condominium complex on Second Avenue where McNair and a female who has not yet been identified by police were found dead this afternoon.
UPDATED: 9:10 P.M.
Police have confirmed the female victim is Sahel Kazemi, 20.
