Adopted kids are not step kids.Good point.
So, it's safe to assume that at least it's not a direct blood relative?
Seriously, I'm not good at mapping this stuff out.

Why are we paying the slightest attention to what’s printed in the National Enquirer?

I would never have guessed that Freeman was a pervert. What a disappointment.

My favorite hypocrisy was the (Morgan Freeman in both roles) of the Moor in Robin Hood saving poor dufus Robin and the Superior Morality lecture to Clint in Unforgiven. Trying to imagine in real historical terms, either the scene when he kicks the Brits around or the scene when he goes upstairs in the fronteir town with the whores...like he would have lasted ten seconds in either case...the revisionist history and superiority thing in Hollywood is laughable...

Rummyfan — HI THERE, GUY!!
Perdogg — this is disturbing news about Freeman, but not entirely surprising since the days when Woody Allen knocked-up his adoptive daughter as a teen. Nothing surprises me anymore.

That isn’t how the law sees it. Two adults who’d been adopted by the same family were convicted in California of “incest” shortly after the Supreme Court decision on Lawrence v. Texas came down.
The woman was the older of the two, engaged in a consenting relationship with the adult male, got pregnant, and the guy got charged.

Maybe Morgan’s just keeping the young warm while his wife trudges the long way back to the open sea to get food for them.

Remarkable direction and remarkable performances. And a timeless reminder of how nice it is to be in a secluded location if one is working on a novel - plenty of time to get lots of work done!
