Oh, no! I hate hearing that, but so thankful she apparently is not seriously injured. Yes, Thank God for seatbelts and for those who wear them! They do save lives.

OH NO!

I am so sorry to hear this. glad she is okay.. but dang on the car loss - hopefully the responsible party has good insurance that will get her into a rental & make retrubution.

Jane.. DO GO to a chiropractor for treatments.. often rear end problems do NOT manifest until after you sign off w/insurance.

My friend Patty is having mega problems from a rear end a year ago. I said the same thing to her & she put me down big time & signed the insurance waver. Now she can hardly walk & is getting no where w/insurance/lawyers & has no $$ for treatment

I hope she gets a complete check up from her doctor. Sometimes, injuries (like whiplash) can show up hours or even days later.

The movie is a cult classic called Christmas Story.. shot about 20 years ago in Cleveland

no lamp yet *just a little christmas tree ornament * .. eventually though yes.. just not in the limited budget. The gift shop is fun & often the movie characters are there volunteering /signing autographs etc in the gift shop

Oh, NO! Thank God she isn’t seriously injured but more aches and pains are not what she needs with her hip pain..Prayers for healing and comfort..I am so glad she is near family.
I sure hope a doctor checked her out..If the car is totaled...she had quite a jolt.

As far as I know, she hasn’t been checked by a doctor. (I’m STRONGLY ‘suggesting’ it, though!)

It is a wonderful movie. I couldn't pick a favorite part of it. This sticky scene still gets me every time.

Lots of good stuff to do in area & very good with parks/green areas, which is great for dogs, biking, kayaking
