What's up with not being able to log onto World Net Daily?

I just tried to get on World Net Daily and what I get is the following message.

Host 'ch-ny-wnd-app1' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'

Don't really want to go to the site they recommend to unblock. This is first time I've had this happen.

Is this the beginning of the Feds interfering with the internet or just a tech problem?

Anyone else having this problem?

Looks like a bunch of connections are open to the database, keeping the front end from delivering anything but the connection error message. Could be a denial of service attack, or the cat may have fallen asleep on the keyboard.

I hope you are right. I would think Drudge would be the target of the Feds if they were gonna do something like shut down a site since they came out the other day and warned people to not log onto Drudge. I guess time will tell.

I looked up the error code on multiple tech forums. Here is the simplest answer here:

Looks like it has a “mysql” error code and it needs to be adjusted.

But this kind of stuff makes me wonder if Free Republic should (if it hasn’t already) built up enough technical redundancy for when they come after US!!!!
