Octo-Mom Health Scare: Having Uterus Removed
http://www.starmagazine.com/octomom_health_uterus_removed/news/15564 ^

Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman is leaving her children for up to a week while she checks into the hospital to have benign fibroid tumors removed from her uterus.
The procedure, which will be done at the hospital where she gave birth to the octuplets at in January, will make further pregnancies virtually impossible!
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Nadya says doctors discovered the fibroids before her last pregnancy and that they must be removed to prevent cancer.
Nadya says she is "terrified" to go under the knife and that she has to make a will before surgery. She also reveals she has chosen a "good Christian couple" as guardians.

Star needs to get their facts straight. One, fibroids do not lead to cancer, and two, they can still be removed and preserve fertility called myomectomy.
That said, this crazy women doesn't need to have any more kids and should be committed for psychiatric evaluation based on her Angelina Jolie obsession alone.

Hmmm sounds odd to me after all I have been through these past months. I got 2 and a 1/2 days in the hospital for a hysterectomy. Not a week. I bet she is getting a tummy tuck. Not that I could blame her. I wouldn’t want to lug around all that loose skin. Hope she has lots of help while recovering as she will surely need it. Prayers for those children.

Then maybe those unfortunate kids may have a chance.

I think at some point she will lose those children. I don’t know how she can keep an eye on all of them without help. I don’t follow her but last I knew she had fired the people helping her. With all the other small children & some special needs children I don’t see how she can keep those babies safe. She already has Gloria Allred on her tail & other children’s advocates are closely watching her every move. IMHO this woman is plain nuts & a media ho. She wants the money & fame those poor children will bring her.

My guess is that this woman is probably using this fibroid “Scare” as an excuse to have a tummy tuck done at the same time as the operation.

The Star is just taking this from Octomom, who was actually quoted babbling about how these “could turn into cancer or something”. Octomom belongs in a different kind of hospitall . . .

I really don't know. Maybe she got some doctor to do it free or whoever pays for those babies pictures. I hope no taxpayers money would go for it. However due to rashes, infections of the skin etc from all that hanging skin may make it possible that medicare/caid might pay for it. Who knows with this woman, she seems to know how to play the system quite well. I still think her sperm donor friend & this kooky doctor ought to be paying for some part of the cost of these children.

Radaronline could be paying for her “operation”. I just went through a hysterectomy & I didn't get any week in the hospital. I got sent home with over 101 temp & an infected incision after 2 & half days. That was in Feb & I still haven't recovered fully. IMHO the father ought to be named & the doctor should lose his license to practice medicine. I don't care for Child Services much but I think somebody has to be watching these children. This “mom” is child like. I just watched some videos of her & in one she wishes she had a male influence for the children now. I think she just loves attention. I raised 5 children that are now young adults & they were a handful. Now I have a 9 yr old & am able to give her so much more attention then I did with my older children. I just don't see how this single “mom” can give each of these children the time they deserve. I know I couldn't do it & wouldn't want to do it either.

geez, normal insurance kicks you out after 1 day.
i watched her explanation video about CPS and gloria “all-red” and i get disgusted when nadya says that she “stops her life for her children”.
ya, right.

Exactly. The woman is completely loony. But I think posters who have suggested that this may be a cover for a tummy tuck, may well be right. Nobody stays in the hospital for over a week for fibroid surgery, and fibroids don’t turn into cancer.
To: FreepShop1
I’ve never seen any indication that any of them were Muslims. They are most certainly not religious Muslims, even if they came from Muslim families. Even the most liberal brands of Islam would not condone a single woman having baby, much less 14, and her father has been working out of the country to make enough money to support his daughter’s baby-making habit, while his wife slaves away caring for the brood. The parents have not just been tolerating their daughter’s activities, they’ve been knocking themselves out enabling her to continue with them. Plus the parents are legally divorced, but have continued to live together (perhaps for tax/bankruptcy reasons, but still not consistent with any version of Islam). The whole family is certifiably insane, but definitely not any sort of believing or practicing Muslims.

i can’t imagine what good decisions she has made.
i had a c-section, then three regular births.
my c-section scar has given me this “pooch” that will never go away.
too bad my last birth didn’t come with a “mommy tuck” ;) hah

I almost went for a tuck with the hysterectomy but now I glad I didn’t. I got sick enough as it was. Something still isn’t right & CAT scans have not picked it up yet. I dread going back to the hospital. Seems I get sicker each time I am there.
