The CDC yesterday, joined with the WHO (and the same media types who put 0bozo on the cover of Time magazine now 13 times) in declaring the Mexican flu a "crisis".
Which brings to mind. Those famous words of Rahm Emanuel:

Sec’y of Health here in Mexico says this disease CAME to Mexico via California or Texas...that Mexico is not the giver...but the receiver...

Explicó que el virus ingresó al país por los estados de Texas y California, Estados Unidos, ya que generalmente por esta zona entran los visitantes asiáticos. Aclaró que México es receptor, mas no país de origen de la transmisión viral.

Since you've reused that answer a number of times on varying threads tonight, including one to me, I feel compelled to respond.
To be clear, I'm not in the heath care biz, in any way, shape or form. But, I do live in Atlanta and have several friends that work at CDC.
Your comment indicates that you have absolutely no idea how, or how much these people are compensated. They don't get bonuses based on how many people die, or the number of or types different viral or bacterial strains they identify. They're all civil servants. Civil servants, who by the way, could be making easily double or even triple what they make at CDC in the private sector. They're dedicated civil servants who wake up every morning faced with one task, to keep America safe from biological cotangents.
When things like this flu, or the peanut butter food poisoning a few months ago happen, these people literally work around the clock doing sometimes dangerous work with virtually no recognition, no sleep and NO ADDITIONAL INCOME. They do it, because the health of the citizens of their country is their paramount concern, nothing more.
Oh no! Oh no! It’s __________ (fill in the blank: swine flu, anthrax, bird flu, cervical cancer, global warming, etc.)
Dump billions of taxpayer $$ to the big firms to save us!
Thank goodness such selfless heroes are on the case. Union munchkins all. Local 2883.
