In an interview that airs Monday on The Tyra Banks Show, Levi Johnston admits he and Bristol Palin were allowed to share a room at Sarah's Alaskan home even though she probably knew they were having sex.
"I'm pretty sure she probably knew," says Johnston. "Moms are pretty smart."
Johnston, 19 and Palin, 18, called of their engagement in March. They welcomed Tripp Easton Mitchell on Dec. 27....."

As soon as he started talking about their sex life on TV he revealed himself as trash. Even at his age he knows better.

What I saw of the interview transcripts suggested that they shared a room in the last week before the baby was born, not before Bristol was pregnant, and Levi suggested that Sarah probably knew because moms tend to know these things, not because of something obvious or that she sanctioned. Thus, the story is, not surprisingly, intentionally misleading, leaving it inaccurately suggested that Sarah had them sharing a room a year ago—and so by that she probably ‘knew’. More scummy media lies.

Agreed. Shame on him AND the Tyra show for keeping up the “15 minutes of Fame” theme as long as it might hurt Sarah Palin. He is still this baby’s father, and this can only strain the relationship he obviously cares not enough about to keep private. They must have offered him some good tabloid money to come on. This then extends the sorry life of the irrelevant personal stories that were swirling around the only important personal in this equation, Sarah Palin herself, most of them 100% made up, and add to the things so called “reporters” can legitimately ask Palin about going forward, if she dares to step inside the bigtime political arena one more time.
The anti Palin money comes to him, intentional or not, from the producers of the Tyra show. It’s called an appearance fee/ Does he have an agent yet? Probably.
In the general, this is a net vote getter. In the primary, not so much.
The way you word this, "I'm pretty sure she knew", makes me pretty sure that your entire story is nothing more than a trumped up, overly dramatized recount of events to help you make money and garner attention.
...and that is not only sad, it is sick and reveals you for what you are.

Here are some questions I'd like answered:
How come Levi, who had been estranged from his mother for some time, suddenly reconciled with her at about the same time that his mother went from a public defender in her case to one of the highest profile defense lawyers in Alaska, Rex Butler?
How are they paying Butler, an Obama supporter and Palin-hater who was quoted in articles trying to connect Palin to racism and even reportedly was quoted on Obama's web pages?
Is Butler promoting Levi's and his mother's PR tour? For money? Is he taking "suggestions" from Axelrod? Will trial judge Eric Smith, who was passed over by Palin for the Alaska Supreme Court recently, recuse himself from the case because of bias?
Think the media will ever answer those questions for me? Sure they will.../s

The statement ends, saying, “Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions.”

When I was 17 I might have thought Levi was hot. I always told my daugher that the guys she thought were nerds in HS were the ones she should marry. Someone who likes to shop, fix things, and makes lots of money.
Yes - and he is on the road to becoming a great father, isn’t he? My advice to young Levi: For the sake of your child, shut up. Be a man, go to work and support your son. Try to give him as good a life as you can. Not talking to the press would be a good start. Video lives forever.
This will get more attention in the media than Hussein’s “I hate America too” tour in Europe.
I always thought Tyra Banks was above this kind of trash TV. Sadly, I see I was wrong - I’ve had my eyes opened so much in the last year and a half.

No, Levi doesn’t get it. He cares not a whit about that baby and is too immature to be parenting. Bristol is better off not to have this childish slob ‘parenting’ her baby. He was a sperm donor, nothing more now. He has sealed his uselessness by trashing the very people who are giving love and support and teaching this little one ... and the little one is infinitely more important than Levi-the-Louse. As for your other comment of your sons protecting their sisters....good to know. My son’s GF is 2 yrs younger and he got the “touch my daughter and I’ll do such and such” talk. Since he’s heard his own dad/my husband give the same speeches to her BFs, Lee listened intently. When the GF’s dad was done with the speech, he told my son, “you look worried”. My son said, no...but I’ve heard my father give these speeches and I know how serious he was!
Now, the GF’s dad loves my son...and my son does respect the GF cuz he knows respect is important if you wish to be trusted.

Indeed. Levi Johnston is immature for his age and would benefit from a stint in the US armed forces. Being around real men would give him a clearer view of the pantywaist he has become. He certainly is old enough to know better than to create a history for his newborn child that shows what a weak willed, mommy’s boy, exploitable jerk he was. When this media/political gravy train ends for him and his family they will be no better off than when they hopped on. Trig deserves better and I hope Bristol will choose more wisely the next time she decides on a mate.

I went to school with a gal kinda like Bristol. She was nice, friendly, smart but seduced by a real jerk. She got pregnant in her senior year but finished high school and married the jerk.
When I saw her at my 25 year class reunion we shared a golf cart at a golf outing the class had. Turns out, as expected, the marriage didn't last long and she was on her own with a little daughter. She then decided to go on to school so she and the litle daughter moved to E. Lansing where she enrolled in Michigan State and ultimately got a degree in nuclear engineering while working part time jobs and caring for her daughter. Pretty remarkable I would say....
Bristol Palin will turn out much better without the jerk kid in her life.
